yamaha SWS OX66 200hp PROP ?

new to board; excellent site. i have 04 hydra sport 212cc with above motor. WOT is 48mph@max rpms with factory aluminum prop. Would like to break 50, what performance prop, pitch etc would allow me to do so? not a speed maniac, just want to keep up with father who has 23cc hydra with 4 stroke 250 yam, same mph @ WOT (48)prior to adding stainless performance prop, picked up 3-4 mph.

50 mph is a magic number that is hard to hit with a single OB on that type boat. IMHO I would be happy with the 48 mph.
You can spend a lot of time and money and not gain that 2 mph.

If you're at max rpms already, having a prop shop throw a little cup in there may grab a bit more water. They can probably lead you in the right direction.

Where you're at sounds good to me. Tell Dad to STFD.

the aluminum is flexing alot at that speed the stainless props are usually worth 2-3 mph all else being the same

Didn't pick up on the "aluminum". True. Going to SS may just be the ticket.
