Default Mercury Enertia Eco test results?

Anyone seen actual test results with this new prop coming out? Can't seem to find anything on the web yet.

I note that it is now March 2014.

Has anyone even heard a rumor of these propellers becoming available any time soon?

They are available now. The 17 pitch will be available late summer 2014.

Tom, 95% of dealers don't read about the new "stuff" developed by OEM's, Then they don't take the time to buy the product so they can TRY the product so that they can sell the product to the consumer. It's no wonder that consumers read more than dealers do, so that they quite possibly "know" more than the dealers do. Propellors are probably the best example of dealers inattention to detail!!

I have mercury enertia props on my boat. Probably an earlier model. Seem to do well. I'm gonna test them compared to the Yamaha performance bulletin and see how they stack up.

I was suppose to get a test set from Mercury. I was pretty excited when they called.

However, they never showed up.

I think they are going to be great for the large Verado Gearcases.
Also, anxious to see them run on Yamaha 350's.

Sometime this summer after I pay taxes, I'm going to try to get a set of 19's or something to test on a few boats.

What is the part number for the LH 19 pitch?

What is the part number for the RH 21 pitch?

What is the part number for the LH 21 pitch?

What is the part number for the RH 23 pitch?

What is the part number for the LH 23 pitch?

Where can we see these part numbers?

Where can we order these props?

Why is the introduction of the 17 pitch version being delayed by half a year?

8M0040400 19 RH
8M0040401 19 LH

8M0040402 21 RH
8M0040403 21 LH

8M0040404 23 RH
8M0040405 23 LH

This is all on page 741 of the 2014 Mercury US Accessories catalog that any dealership should have and can order from.

I dont know why the 17pitch has been delayed but it is coming. It is not listed in the catalog but is on the website.

Thank you captbone.

I find it odd that there is absolutely no mention of the Enertia ECO in the 2014 Mercury Propeller Guide, not even a "coming soon" blurb.

The one you posted.

http://www.mercurymarine.com/news-an...aving-propell/

"These savings will be available to consumers beginning in February 2014 in right- and left-hand rotation across four pitches: 17, 19, 21 and 23 inches. All feature a 16-inch diameter."

The 17pitch is not listed in the catalog and when I asked at the NYC boatshow, I was told 3-4 months after the other Eco props came out. I also saw this some where online as well. I will try and find it.

Here is another mention of the 17 pitch size.

"The Enertia ECO will reach Mercury dealers and boat builders in January 2014, and will be offered in right- and left-hand rotation in four pitches: 17, 19, 21 and 23 inches. MSRP will be $795.00, which means unless you need a new set of props, it might take a season for the gain in economy to begin to pay off."

Here is one vendor that has the part number, but no price. Makes me think they do not actually have access to the props yet.

I am pretty sure they were made available in the past few days. If I am mistaken it will be sometime within the next few days but certainly in March.

Will they be of larger diameter than the older version?
