I have always been a big fan of the Venture 34' along with the Jupiter 31'. I just checked the Venture web site and noticed that it indicated "on the horizon new Venture 27." Does anyone have any news, details, etc.
I am a production manager for venture marine and the new 27 will be shown at the boat show in october at ft lauderdale show if you have any ququestion feel free to ask it is a nice lookin boat
I received info on the boat about a week ago. Overall it looks very sweet on paper. The retail price however is a bit extreme, even for Venture. I'm looking forward to seeing the 27 and Bahama 31 at the Lauderdale show.

If you don't mind sharing the info, what is the retail price?

I don't know how accurate this is, but a dealer told me $140K well equipped with twin Verado 200s...
I was just thinking to myself, what the boating market really needs is another medium length center console for $140,000. Just not enough of them around.

yeah - with 200's that weigh the same as 275's....

All I have to say is that you get what you pay for. If the finish means anything to you, buy a Venture...If not, buy what ever else! Trust me, I've been on the competition and they just don't compare! You can say all you want about the ride, and I'll be the first to admit that it may not be the best in it's class, but it's at the top!
