Default Barnacle Bull

Haven't had a chance to get out on the boat for a week. Went down to do some fluke fishing today and noticed barnacle growth on only the aft port side of my hull. Last Saturday they weren't there. This is a new boat painted by the dealer just 3 months ago (Petit Unepoxy). What gives with the barnacles? I thought bottom paint prevented this. The starboard side is clean as a whistle.

does that side get more sunlight??, I live in S.Fla. so our growth is much worse than yours,,but the growth is worse on the sunny side of my boat,,BTW I have a dive service brush clean my boat bottom once a month or the barnacles take over even with Trinidad 76%cuprous oxide bottom paint.
water is warm year round here

I would ask the dealer if he thinned the paint prior to application. If he did then it might have been diluted too much and decreased the effectiveness.

Evernic, it is the sunny side of the boat. I noticed more algae growing on that side too.
Thanks.
