Evinrude E-TEC (How good is this engine)

Just mounted a 200 e tec on my 21 Seacraft, after 30 hours I am completely satisfied, set up for the xd-50 oil, quiet and powerful, nice to be able to have a conversation on the boat while its running hard. The above posts are telling the hull truth.

I have a Key West 225CC with a 225 E-Tec. I purchased it new about 2 and a half months ago. I can't say enough good things about the motor. I ran out of Destin to the Timberholes on Father's Day. It was about 90 miles round trip, according to the GPS. I ended up burning 30 gallons of gas. I ran it about 35 miles this past Sunday. Only burned a little over 10 gallons. Not too bad, in my book. My average cruise speed inshore in calm water is around 4500 RPMs.
