Default Norwalk Marina in Town

Is there any place in Norwalk to dock if you want to have lunch in town and walk around for a bit. Norwalk Cove Marina is just too far to walk to town.

I believe there is a municiple dock. I'm not sure exactly where it is located. Hopefully someone more familiar with the area will chime in with information.

Yes, go down deeper into the harbor and on the right side where the town ramp is just before the bridge there is a municipal dock. I don't know what they charge to dock but I think there is an hourly fee.

Reelnauti is right, there is a municipal dock in town. Just go past Norwalk Cove to the head of the harbor. There are some nice restaurants and a cold stone, sorry my favorite. Stamford also has the crab house which is the next harbor west. Once in that harbor take the channel to port at the split.

Thanks. Was in Stamford last weekend but now hoping to go to Norwalk. Other than the municipal dock (where I assume they do not take slip resrevations) can anyone think of a place withing walking distance to town?
