I'm planning on installing an open array radar antenna on my World Cat 270TE. Based upon my experience with my previous 266SF I assume that the open array antenna will be too tall to comfortably trailer the boat (worried about losing a $4500 antenna on a tree limb

). Cat hulls tend to sit noticeably higher on a trailer than a monohull. On my previous World Cat I had some problems with overhanging limbs with the 4kw 24" radome antenna. The radome was mounted directly on top of the T-Top and I measured the radome to be 12'8" above the ground while the boat was sitting on the trailer.
Has anyone mounted an open array antenna with a custom mounting assembly/bracket that would allow the antenna to be 'flipped' forward for trailering purposes?
Any suggestions/pictures would be welcome.
Thanks
