Default GAS TANK Question

I saw someone had painted their tank prior to installing it...looked like a dark grey primer...what is that stuff and is it neccesary?

Default Re: GAS TANK Question

I painted mine with some left over interprotect I had. It's gray. I think it was a good idea and will extend the life of the tank. Check back in 10 years or so, I'll let you know how things worked out.
