Additional Gunwale Rod Holders

I was thinkng about intalling some fllush mounted rod holder in the gunwales towards the bow of the boat. Don't really want the clamp-on for the grab rails. Is there enough room between the hull and the liner for this?? Anybody ever done this?? Thanks for the input. SM

IT DEPENDS ON THE BOST... I'M PUTTING 2 MORE ON EACH SIDE. Look out for Fuel lines and running light wires.
