I have been on this boat several times during demo days but never in any kind of slop. I would love to trade my 270 in on a 320 w/ 275 Verados and would like to know how it handles the rough stuff? With 23 degrees of deadrise and a listed dry weight of 8500 lbs I would assume it rides great but would like some feedback if anyone has experience on this boat.

Re: Any rough water exeprience on Whaler 320 Outrage?
We will take my brothers out tomorrow. We had it in a 3' plus chop at 40 MPH, no problem. Still getting used to it. We have the ADSS floor; works great.

"Steve - I am not going to tell you again - we need pics!!! Do I have to come up there and take them myself?" Glen, can you make it up here by 10:00 AM this morning? Bring your camers! Looks like overcast and rain!

So you recommend the ADSS floor? I was hoping to be able to live without it and save a little money. What are your impressions of the ride with the ADSS off?

Boat Mike
No we didn't get the ADDS. I couldn't justify the cost because of where we boat and that the Whaler rides so good with out it. I' am sure that if I was on the east coast that I would definitely had it installed.
Steve P.S. Pictures have been taken but still having problems getting them to Glen. Hopefully this week.

roaddogg4040- Thanks for the reply, I don't think I will opt for the ADSS because I love the way my 270 rides and the 320 can only be better, plus I can use that money towards electronics.

I cannot speak of the new 320, although something has to be done with the anchor, But I did take a sea trial on a inboard 34? express they introduced and dropped within two years. The scariest ride I ever had. Closely spaced 3 - 5 footers. Dead on or 45 degrees into, decent but certainly not acceptable. Those same seas following....horrific. Holding on for life, no steerage, more power, less power, Trying every angle,speed...no more Whalers for me, there are too many proven boats at that price point that are proven. This includes the new 32.

Re: Any rough water exeprience on Whaler 320 Outrage?
Brett D...BW did make a 31' inboard for a few years. All, non commercial, BW are outboards now. The SS anchor is great, it's on a windlass and always ready at the press of a button; either up front by anchor or from the console. The ADSS is Active Deck Suspension System. The floor behind the CC including leaning post and bait prep area is setting on a pneumatic floor...when you hit a wave the floor actually goes down about 4''. Then immediately back up for the next hit. Takes a little getting use to, but cushions the shock very well. Great on the back. It's the $18,000 option; that hurts.
