Broken spring on EZ Loader Tandem Axle Trailer

I broke a spring, fortunatly after I launched the Whaler, on the forward axle, drivers side. My question is..Can I buy the springs in tandem or do I have to buy each spring seperate? I want replace all 4, but would like to get tandem sets for ease of install.

I appreciate all comments/suggestions.

You purchase each spring seperate. It will cost under $300 bucs to replace all hardware with new.

8 shackles
4 hangers
15 shackle bolts, 9/16
15 nyloc nuts, 9/16
Enough washers,
4 leaf springs
2 levelers
4 leaf spring plate
8 hanger brackets
16 nyloc nuts for hanger brackets
washers for hanger brackets

couple of sawzall blades
hammer, wrenches--both sockets, possibly deep wells, and open ends (of course impacts are better and faster)
one afternoon of getting dirty

While you're at it, may as well repack your wheel bearings.

I know you can contact LoadMaster for a leaf spring replacement kit. I'm sure EZ loader offers the same deal. Give them a call.

I had a bearing race fuse to the axle of a tandem EZ Loader, and I went to their website at http://www.ezloader.com/default.asp

I gave them a call and they were most helpful.* We discussed what I needed while I was able to view their parts drawings online.* They shipped me exactly what I needed, and the prices were reasonable.

I also learned to tear the bearings down and repack/replace them every Winter :-)

Call EZ Loader Trailers and ask for Jack Lundershausen in the parts department. He is extremely helpful.

He even provided me with an exploded diagram for my trailer which displays all the part numbers.

Make certain that when you replace the leaf spring(s) you also install new bolts, spacers, and bushings. You'll be money, time, and safety ahead...
