Default t-top dimensions

i just saw the t-top on my 04 grady 222
installed by my dealer...was supposed to match factory
it doesnt
the t-top looks fine from every angle but from the front....it looks small......
factory t-top on the 22 (or the 20 that was there) is 67" wide
mine is 60"
i put up a fuss cause it LOOKS small to me...(& is)
the t-top guy said he makes em like that so you dont bang your head boarding from the side....im not buyin it
anyone have an opinion on this....the dealer held my boat hostage for a long time & if i dont want this top...g.o.k. how long till its replaced ..& bad feelings for all....
the dealer is saying to take the boat & use it & if i hate it hell replace it........(we barter) so no money to withold, just services....we also bartered last year & i was very happy....that was the only way i could afford a new grady!

also the 3 sided curtains wrap around the t-top on mine as opposed to wraping around & snapping to the wind sheild inside the uprites on the factory ones.
this makes the bottom portion of the t-top look a little larger in relation to the top
wich doesnt help my problem....the dealer says my way is much better .....
maybe im overeacting cause all my problems are with the look of the top...
but the look of the top & my substantial investment overall are very important to me.....im sure ill sell the boat in a year or two....& this may hinder resale if the potentail buyer feels as i do.

thanks for letting me vent
any opinions?

Default Re: t-top dimensions

I trailer and I have a new top this season. The boat is still here in the yard. I have no friggin time

1985 21 foot CC Mako w/a 5X7 foot top. I see no issues. I would not want mine any wider. The reasons for this are unknown.

I hope I helped a little

I've never been a racist. I don't like the white half either.
