Merc 125 making squeaking noise ... ideas?

I have a 2002 model 125 HP Mercury.* After running it at 4300 RPM's or so for about 3/4 to 1 hour, when I throttle back I can hear a squeaking sound coming from the engine.* It does not do this when I run for a shorter period of time (15-20 mins).* I really do not know what to think.* I do know an engine should not be making a noise like that, though.

I did a compression check yesterday and all 4 cylinders came in real close to 135.* I think that's a good number.

I'm guessing slight overheating because it looks like my water pressure might be off a little bit.* I used to get about 10 at 4300 RPM's and now it looks closer to 9.

Would it be an impeller or water pump issue to cause water pressure to drop a little like that.* Just wondering if it might be something simple.* If not, I'll take it into the mechanic.

Any ideas?
