Re: Yamaha wont start I've got nothing for the motor. On the trim, does it work when the motor is off? Shouldn't matter if the motor is running or not. Does the pump spin up when you hit the button? If not then you have some type of electrical connection issue. Check fuses and such. If the pump fires when you hit the button, but the motor doesn't move, check for low oil or air in the line. I thought the motor trims were self bleeding, just fill the resivoir and pump. Not sure about it though. If it is an eletrical problem, maybe your engine and trim problems are related?
