Default Yamaha wont start

Hey I gota 1997 Yamaha S150TLRV Salt Water Series motor that won't start. I got back from a long fishing trip and it ran fine. When I got back to the house to flush the motor the temp. alarm is on when I turn the key. The motor truns over but no start. Getting good fuel. Motors cold. Also another unrelated problem. Could this be a bad temp sensor? The trim will not work, the motors running but no worky. Could this be low oil or air? no oil leak. Any suggestions I would appreciate.

I've got nothing for the motor. On the trim, does it work when the motor is off? Shouldn't matter if the motor is running or not. Does the pump spin up when you hit the button? If not then you have some type of electrical connection issue. Check fuses and such. If the pump fires when you hit the button, but the motor doesn't move, check for low oil or air in the line. I thought the motor trims were self bleeding, just fill the resivoir and pump. Not sure about it though. If it is an eletrical problem, maybe your engine and trim problems are related?

Check to see if the safety lanyard is connected. It will also cause the alarm to warn you
