Default Worldcat Diesel

I was interested in the 27 ft. diesel last year - until they stopped making them. Heard from the factory that they were not going to make diesels anymore because they weren't selling. But a couple of the dealers I spoke with said they are still being made. So I'm not sure who has the correct information - the factory or the dealers. Does anyone know if Worldcat is still manufacturing the diesel model? And if so, for what length boat? Maybe it's time to start looking again.

Default RE: Worldcat Diesel

You should post this question on the World Cat message forum. http://forums.worldclasscats.com/forum.jspa?forumID=13

I would think the factory would have a better idea then a dealer if the factory is or is not still producing a diesel version.

Did you read the review (full season) of the WC diesel in Boating Magazine earlier this year?

I had spoken to Scott at the factory and he said that there were no plans to build a boat for diesels then. They only manufactured a handful of them. The World Cat end looks like it will remain all outboards .They acquired Glacier Bay last year and they had inboard powered 30' and 34' . I was at the show in AC last weekend and spoke to Rodney Antonelly and he mentioned all about the smaller line of boats they are going to produce Livingston which is a small planing cat similar to a TV and Carolina Cat which they hope to start production soon . I also spoke to Andrew Brown owner of World Cat and we spoke for a while and he did not indicated diesel for the WC. He was just thrilled with the new 32CC that is going to replace the33T which they were going to unveil in Miami a lighter hull using vacuum infusion.

Yeah, and he's the (()&#*&*&@*(&@)_# @#*( that just brought the damn "Danny's Cat" thread back to life after fifteen months so he could take a dig at diesel WC's (which were never even mentioned in that thread.) Oh, just in case that wasn't enough, he started a new thread here this afternoon, "World Cat Diesel Models."

I'm a little slow, but I think he MAY have some issues. Now, where is that main World Cat whore Harry Broadsofsky (sp?) when he's needed?

Just thot' I'd stop in to locate a few World Cat diesel owners

Actually, I was commenting on cracks in the hull tunnel of World Cats, but I also posted a QUESTION about diesel model world Cats, in a new thread after being reprimanded for commenting on an older thread where a guy was looking at buying one of the diesel models. Thus, my own thread.

Funny thing about www.bloodydecks.com, it seems that one of their advertisers (World Cat) didn't like the fact that I asked questions about the diesel models, especially after one of their dealers in San Diego admitted the Andrew Brown knew they had a design problem with engines sucking up saltwater but continued to sell the model. So under pressure by an advertiser, they deleted my thread.

GUTLESS is the only term that comes to mind when they stop a guy from asking questions.

As I recall, you bought a USED boat, and wanted World Cat to warranty it, or invoke the Lemon Law. They deleted the thread at BD for Product Bashing as I recall. They dont allow ANY threads that Bash product.
