HELP- Exper/opinion on 99 Evinrude 115

I am looking at a 1999 Sea Pro 18 CC w/ an Evinrude 115. I know nothing about these motors so any input would be appreciated. The boat, motor and trailer can be had for $8200.

to determine what the going price for that rig should be. I'm not aware of any extraordinary issues with that particular engine. Make sure you do your home work on compression check, spark plug condition, water pump, lower unit lub, etc., etc. Check around your area for a reliable outboard shop and have them take a look at it before you write the check.

Thanks for the input. I did check nada for value purposes, but wanted to know if anyone knew of any major issues with the motor. I hope the few responses mean that there are not any major problems with the motor. I have to admit, Evinrude would not be the motor of my choice, but that is what is on the boat. Thanks again for you guidance.
