Default Angler 180 DC

Looking at this boat, new 2005, white hull, pedestal seat port, choice of Merc 115hp Optimax or 4stroke. Strong dealer, in business 40 years, selling Angler 15 years. Great price on total package.
Aware of many strong opinions and experiences re Angler on this forum. Seeking info from those with direct experience with this model or similar from Angler. My need is all-around boat for family fishing and watersports on inland and inshore waters. Thanks

I own a Angler 22cc since new in 2000. I know that many here dont take kindly to this brand but here is my opinion as a owner. Overall I am happy with the boat. I fish the Jersey coast and find that my boat is a great fishing platform. It is easy to take care of, and still looks new. The only problems I had with it was the first year the boat had a few gelcoat blisters on the liner, which was fixed by my dealer. Also the rod pockets started developing cracks on the second year which either the dealer or Angler would not fix, said that the warranty only covers the hull, not componets after first year. For the money, I am happy with the boat.

Can't go wrong with the 115 Optimax, more power than the 115 4-stroke and slightly better fuel burn.

I own a 2004 Angler204fx. I fish almost every weekend in Miami if the weather permits and I really enjoy the boat. It's my first and has been great so far. I'm sure I've got over 200 hours in the first year. It's not finished off like the more expensive boats but I have no complaints. Andy if you want pictures let me know!
