You decide what is best for you.
Ride 'em before you buy 'em.
Visit the factory to see build quality and details and then talk to owners vs sales guys.
I have run the YF 21 vs a 22 Sterling - both new 2011 250 SHO rigs. The YF smoked the Sterling by 4 MPH, tournament loaded. The YF had a 36V TM with 3 batteries on the bow and the Sterling had the TM stowed on the rear deck. The YF 250 SHO rig ran 74 mph lightly loaded, with TM on bow and batteries up front. YF 21 after 80 hours of hard running the snotty stuff on many occasions = zero stress cracks & great resale value.
Eric Simmons sells 4 SCB models in various configurations (TopCat, F-22, StingRay and Recon) with the 300 Merc powered F-22s and Stingrays running in the high 80s to mid 90s, depending on console height and placement - and the SCBs have a wide open fishing layout.

I know the Laniers are very fast light build rigs, yet the angled decks seem to be 'not so fisherman friendly' to my eye.
Good luck with your search.
