Default Mixing 2-stroke oil?

I am the proud and happy owner of twin 2000 Evinrude 175 ficht motors that have given me trouble-free service for the dozen times I have been out on my new -to- me boat. I have gained much knowledge from this site over the past several months and I thank everyone for that. My question regarding two-stroke oil is this: If I am currently running standard TCW3 oil, can I change to a synthetic blend or a 100% synthetic oil without reprecussions? Should I drain all the TCW3 oil first? Should I go with 100% synthetic such as Evinrude XD100 or is the 50% blend fine?

Thanx for the input
