I had a trailer company (local) convert my bunk trailer to rollers....it was simple...cost $380.00 for the parts and labor. I would guess converting to bunk would be cheaper.

I am in the process of converting my roller trailer to bunk also. My trailer has 76 rollers and all need to be changed. The previous owner was a little lacking in*the preventive maintenance category. The issues I have come across are: getting the bunks to the same contour of the bottom(bottom is same contour between last strake and centerline on my boat), where along the bottom to run the bunks(the easiest place to match the contour, just not on the outside edge), how long should they be( at least slightly past the stern, up to where the rollers stop?). You will get much more support from the bunks, so you may not need to go as far up, just be sure you will clear the trailer frame when*loading at the ramp.

We converted a partial roller trailer (front half was rollers) to full bunks by just adding wood. You heard right, we just U bolted the wood to the top of the rollers. Been that way for about 3 years now without any issues.
