What percentage of their servicing dealers are qualified to work on Verados now, and what are their plans going forward concerning this same issue?

I'm also curious about details on the 150 and 175 hp Verados, such as weight.

Glen ask them if they're going to come out with a 300 + hp non racing version Verado and when. Also ask them if they're going to stop this BS of having to run 93 octane to get the extra 25 hp from 250 to 275.

I'd also like to know what was the maximum hrs they put on a single Verado - but I doubt they'll tell us that.

Who knows maybe there is hope for me yet with Mercury !

Thanks

drifter had best questions yet....potential merc quality service is a problem,i wouldnt want to take my rig to bass pro shops for repair... they need to get the 200,225 to weigh in what new 150,175 weights will be instead of what the 250,275 weight.... in other words, IMO they need to be in the 480-510 lb range instead of 650. then theyd have something.

I read something somewhere recently that indicated that certain long time, very loyal, smaller Merc dealers were simply not willing to make the investment necessary to support the Verado product line. I think that support problem, if there is one, is going to be a bigger problem in the northern climates where the boating season is short making a reasonable return on investment difficult.
