2000 22.6 wellcraft - The Hull Truth

Bought one last year in NC. 22.6 cuddy cabin. Had about 70 hours on it. Great price, great looking boat. Wanted a Pro Liner, but that was in another league. Only thing worried me alot was after I got home and did more research and took in to my mechanic to check things he told me in 1998 and 1999 they had alot of problems with the Finch motor plus they sold the Evinrude company to someone else. I think it is Bombinere. The year 2000 they were supposed to be pretty good. Great boat for the money with lots of storage but does not ride well in a chop. Thats the only thing that bothers me. If its a little rough, you will know it but great on gas and burns very little oil
