Default 39' Yellowfin Build

First off, it's not mine!

Though after checking it out today, I wish it was. Forum member Tar Heel is having a 39' built so he's asked me to stop by and get some pictures and updates throughout the build. Of course I'm more than happy to oblige because I'll take any excuse to hang out around the factory.

Just came out of the mold today so it was still in the laminating shop. With how busy they are I'd imagine it may be a couple weeks before it moves on to get the cap and liner, but we'll see.

I'll let Ty chime in and let everyone know what he's going with as far as options and all.

I took some other pictures in the laminating shop and updated the Yellowfin Factory Photos thread.

Enough talking, here are the pictures.

Josh, you are the man! Thanks for the pics and making this build thread happen. Will be cool to see the boat come together here. BTW you are on the first Tuna trip to the Otherside.. Thanks for the complements guys. Pretty stoked. Boat will have a stand on tower. Power will be trip 300 Verados. Should make for a economical cruise at 40mph and that's what's important to me along with an awesome local Merc mechanic in Tommy Broedell here in Jupiter. Doing a bunch of custom features that i can explaine over the course of the build. Also adding extra fuel for a 750 gal fuel capacity. Never have to buy fuel in the Bahamas again!

I am heading over to Grand Cay at the end of March with our 36. If your boat is completed, try to make it over. Again great looking boat!

Yes Jim, Your triple 300 Verado 39’s econ and performance numbers absolutely helped steer my power choice. You are the only guy who has had a 42yf with f350's and a 39yf with 300 Vrods so your option and your engine log carried a lot of weight with me! Thanks again for your time and help.

Glad to see the 39 is underway Ty, I know you are itching to get back on the water!!!
We've only been out a couple of times on your old boat since the weather hasn't been cooperating, but she's running like a champ so far. The last trip was a little under 80NM (one way) and she did great! Cant wait to see the new one!
Josh, thanks for posting the pictures, keep them coming!!!
