Default Quick opnions needed please !!!

Plan to sign a contract tomorrow on a 2001 210 Logic ( Triumph ). I know some don't care for the "plastic" boat but I think it will serve my needs well. It has a 130 Johnson Ocean Pro, I would like comments on both boat and motor but most importantly the motor as I am not familiar with it ( low hours, don't know exactly how many yet ) Boat is in Ga and I am in Central NC and plan to go inspect/bring home Sat. For those that have experence with the Logic is there anything in paticular I should look for?
Thanks,
David

My dad had one. the only thing he ever changed on it was the spark plugs and the water pump, and that is when he first got the boat about a year ago.

Should at least check the compression on the motor.* These are great motors; I assume you done a SEARCH above on the boat.* Will you take for a seatrial?** Best of luck, you seemed to have done your homework...* Just be prepared to keep going if things don't feel/look right; better to waste a weekend Vs a whole boating season.* I always like to ask "why their selling it" and...shut up.* Amazing what you hear.*

I would also take a CLOSE look at ALL of the screws in the boat - in the "early years" of "Logic", I think there were considerable problems (according to what I remember seeing on THT?) with them backing out - especially around the console mounting area?

At the same time, I have ALSO seen info on here that that problem was corrected on the "newer" models, as well as very favorable comments from those who own them!

I think 2001 was the FIRST year for Logic and it was one of THE first boats I looked at in my "search".

Sorry I can't comment on the motor.

Regards,

Bruce is right about the screws, check the bow rail and all cleats, T-top etc. Logic used to sell the "powdered plastic", you could heat the screw, dip it and re-install it. The hatches were not the best fitting. Definitely test ride it, it does flexsome, but has a soft ride. Good luck.
