Simple green or similar degreasers will clean any man made type of mess on the boat.

Get the deck moist, squirt a little Soft Scrub with bleach around, scrub with your soft bristled deck brush and let the bleach to the work for a minute or two. Rinse off thoroughly.

Been doing it for 5+ years on many boats with no issues to the paint/gelcoat/vinyl upholstery.

This is exactly what I do.

I did not have good luck with soft scrub - after 3 years of using it on my donzi non skid, I had a floor that chalked very easily. I used the non grit soft scrub gel after that on other boats with better luck.

Water, Bleach and Simple Green makes a great blood, squid, etc. remover.

I would like to not use it, but nothing I've tried gets rid of blood and fish slime. I use it after every trip.

Been using it on this boat for 10+ years. Mix it into my soap and water when I clean the interior / fish boxes / bilge. As others have said, it lifts fish blood and goo very well and if you let the soapy mix sit a few minutes in the sun before rinsing, it removes most stains. I don't use it on the exterior or the motors. Not even necessary since the outside doesn't gets messed up with blood and goo like the deck does.

Wouldn't be so keen about using anything with grit in it though. I have a friend who uses Comet (or something like it) on his boat. Looks like it's been sanded with 80 grit.

I have always used it full strength using a squirt bottle and on a 25' boat by the time I apply I rinse off. Never a problem although on the white engine cover it once made them temporarily turn a reddish color. I quickly washed off and in a day the reddish fade was gone. Never understood what happened but the covers just get the brush now.

Try it.
I use it in the builge, A/C drip pans and shower sump. Put some in the water tank if it gets that funkey smell. Chlorine bleach can eat stainless steel. Soft scrub wares down the gelcoat.

Just bought it off amazon...thanks for the idea
