Does anyone know where I can weigh a boat/trailer combo? I need a large drive-on scale like the one at dumps or truck stops. My boat should weight around 3000#'s but I want to make sure the foam sandwich is not taking on water.
I don't know where you are located but most scrap yards as well as yards that provide loam, sand, stone, etc have scales and ussually will accommodate you.
Slickster - I guess maybe that term is not used too much in boat building. "Foam sandwich" construction is a technique adopted for manufacturing wind serfing boards.
