The service bulletin was published for the dealers at the tail end of December and the Yamaha recall information was posted here the first week in January.

I guess if I missed it some other dumba$$es may have too. Anyway, I guess those Fla. guys are a little slow on the uptake.

Talked to my dealer about it. Said he already had parts for about a dozen new motors (mine included)
I guess new boats get preference. I think Yam recommends not using the motors until the fix is done.
Could you see what a mess this is gonna be. April is right around the corner.

Yep, them Florida folks were informed also early in Jan.
