Default weight of bayliner 2859

anyone know the weight of a bayliner 2859 classic with 454/ bravo set up? i would like to help a friend out towing it just want to make sure my truck is up to the task thanks

I would guess that it's up to about 8500 lbs with some fuel, water and gear aboard. I think the dry weight is supposed to be about 7500 lbs. This doesn't include the trailer.

yes thats the one thanks.i have a crewcab duramax 4x4 that i tow my glacierbay with i just didnt want any surprises. thanks

Plus about 2000lb for a suitable trailer, plus gas, lifejackets etc etc.

towed his boat home today-no problem at all cruised at 55-60 mph once we hit the highway. trailer only a couple years old and set up right for his boat
