Default volvo penta trim cylinder bleed off

I have a 1998 volvo penta DP-S recently the seals in them went bad and i rebuilt them and put back on i ran the unit up and down twice filling the resavoir to make sure it didnt draw air. So i put a mark on the shaft with a marker so i could see if it moved i checked it every 3 days for 2 weeks and it never moved today i went over and it dropped an inch and a half. ...is it broke again? Did i not bleed it enough? Or could it be the tempature getting in the low 40s at night instead of the 65f lows we have been having (tempature pressure relationship)
