Ever tried an airboat/flying boat?

The de-acceleration trauma incured from the transition from air to relatively hard water isnt worth it...

I have been in several Hovercrafts(2 seaters thru 10-seaters)*which I think qualify as a flying boat. Actually Canada treats them as airplanes.

Never could hook-up on*buying one. One thing or another with the manufactures.

If I am going to risk my life in one of those, I'll want an Angler brand and another recommendation from slugghopper to convince me to buy one.
