RE: restore 2 cycle additive?? Just so I am not confused, isn't Quickleen the Mercury version for engine fogging? If so, I use Sea Foam instead of the Quickleen. The Carbon Free is more of a gas treatment, upper cylinder treatment that reduces carbon buildup. One bottle treats something like 60 gallons and costs around $6 per bottle at WM.
Well, I still use Sea Foam every now and again for fogging. I do that normally at the beginning and end of the summer, but the Carbon free made those engines just purr like a kitten. Running a 125 with the 2+2 config, they are notorious for having a rough idle. I also started using the Quicksilver Premium Plus and that helped even more. Now it very rarely runs rough.
I was turned on to Carbon Free by Mole2 and I had the same results as he did.
