Default Boat remodeling

We need help finding veneer covered plywood for boat interior. plus other supplies to remodel the interior of a new boat

Haven't been able to check for myself, but if you look in the the back pages of some woodworking magazines I think you'll see some advertisers.

Would luan work? Luan is usually a 1/4 inch thickness that is often used for ornamental interiors. I sided my garage with it years ago and it looks great. Takes a finish really well, and you could use a polyurethane for the boat.

I guess the obvious question has to be, what type of wood and wood trim would you like to use?

As long as the interior only gets ambient moisture I would use Baltic plywood and contact cement my veneer on. Then finish with a sealer of some sort.

TIP:

Keep all of your panels off of the floor. Trim these areas with a sleek baseboard of solid wood.
