Default A big THANKS to Dry Rot..aka Dave D.

This week I had the pleasure to meet fellow board member "DryRot" in Ft. Myers. I had flown from Gig Harbor, Washington state to Florida to purchase a trailerboat and he went out of his way helping me with the towing and directions to marina, etc.

Dave's wonderful wife even made dinner for me while I was visiting, and once again "Thank you". Then Dave took me out in his 32 Pursuit, a sweet boat indeed! He showed me the intercoastal waterway and gave me many facts of the area, that I was unaware of.

I must say that it was "hot" and "humid" in Florida, but after a few days of this, I could see why many people would want to reside there. It was strange to see no hills or mountains, but the fishing looks like it could be a blast there, I would be a fishing maniac over there. Not that I'm not already though. The boat will be a winter project and hope to have it fishable in time for next springs salmon season.

Thanks again for your help and hospitality......both to the Hull Truth and Dave.
