Just got back from Boston's in water boat show.
1st. I'd like to take the directions I printed off their website, roll them up and shove them where the sun don't shine. Well I did this morning anyway!
If your going, DO NOT use the printed directions. You'll end up somewhere in Maine chasing moose around....
Wheww, Now I'm done ranting on the directions.
Boat show was cool, never been to an "in water" show. Very different prospective on things. Lots of manufacturers represented.
I was disapointed that Grady didn't have a 265 there. Really wanted to see one again.
if your going this weekend, get there early, the parking s@#ks.
I think I've gone to the Fall Boston In-Water show every year for the past 4 or 5 years, but I'm not going this year.* Fishing boats in the 20-26' range (with the exception of Grady White and Pursuit) are poorly represented.* I'll wait for the indoor show*in February.
In the water shows give dealers a chance to showcase bigger boats. Getting those 30-50 footers to inside shows is very expensive and a PITA. I have always found that for 18-30 footers the inside shows are best.
I'm going later today as it's only about a block from my office. I'm usually somewhat dissapointed in this show, but it's still a boat show and it draws me to it. Unfortunately I missed the Newport show, so this will have to hold me until the winter one. It usually has a fair amount of boats, but very few accessories (seats, electronics, fishing stuff, etc).
reel-em-inn,
I'm selling a 21 center console located in Falmouth
1999 Wellcraft 210 Tournament Edition with a Johnson 200. This boat was bought as a left over in 2000 and has around 300 hours on it. Blue hull, T Top, 3 sided enclosure with side curtains and custom canvas console cover. Custom made top of the line leaning post. Furuno Radar, Furuno Fishfinder, Garmin 188 GPS chartplotter/sounder, vhs, cd player. American double axle trailer with brakes. Boat is located in slip at the end of Falmouth inner harbor just past Pier 37.
Riprunner, I wil be putting my new Glacier Bay 2680 in a slip near you Tuesday night if everyting works out in terms of hauling. I am putting it on the floating docks for a least a week, maybe longer. I am looking for a more affordable slip in Falmouth for October. The Harbormaster is charging me $45/day for the slip. Yikes! Any suggestions as to where I can get a better deal?

If you don't mind going out of Waquoit Bay, I would call Little River Boat Yard in Mashpee, they usually have some room in October. I would even give Edward's boat yard a try.
