Default tach/speed not working properly

my tach and speedometer are not working properly.....they quit on me last night....they were both working when i launched but they died on me sometime while i was on the water.

the tach only works above 2000 rpm's (anything below that and it sticks on 2), and the speedometer does not work at all and sticks on 10 mph

also, when i flip on my courtesy lights, the lights on the side of the console come on as well as the small red lights in the livewells, but the gauges do not light up like they normally do...

at first, i suspected the wiring, but why would 2 of the 3 functions of the courtesy switch work still?

i didn't do any investigating last night (long day on the water and football was on), but what should i look for?

fyi - it's a 2005 sea pro 190cc

thanks in advance,
chris

Default RE: tach/speed not working properly

DON'T do anything short of returning to your local dealer and have them properly rerig your boat!!!

there is simply no reason a new ride should have these issues unless the setup person did not tighten something!!!
