fuel tank sight glass

I have a plastic fuel tank and I have a deck hatch that gives me access to the fuel sending unit, fuel and vent connections. It's hard to tell exactly how much fuel is in the tank using the gauge. I was wondering does anyone make a sight glass that I could install at this location so that I could check fuel and tank condition. Thanks

I would't cut holes in it for a sight glass. Since you have access to the top of the tank, have you considered making a stab stick? My old 20 Shamrock had one. They can be made out of teak easy enough.

don't know about a sight glass. i did have a previous boat with a built in aluminum tank that had a sending unit with a manual guage on top of it. it also was the sending unit for the in dash gauge. being able to see the fuel would be kinda cool though as most gauges are not accurate.
