Default 26' Gary Davis Express

Does anyone know anything about Gary Davis boats? There is one for sale in MD that I have driven past a few times. The boat is advertised as a 26' Gary Davis Express. It looks interesting, but I cant find out much about it online. I haven't contacted the broker yet. I am just looking for general info like: How many of these were built?, Builder still around?, Construction methods, ride characteristics, deadrise at the transom, Weight, cruise and WOT etc. Boat has a pair of older Yam 150s.

Thanks to anyone who can point me to some details.

Jeremy

Gary Davis built boats in Marshallberg, NC under the name Sleepy Creek Boatworks. Cold molded. Gary is now the Supervisor/lead boat builder at Jarrett Bay, so I wouldnt hesitate on the quality of the boat.
