Default rudder stuffing box nut for bertram 35

I am looking for a stuffing box nut for a 11/4" rudder shaft. I can buy the whole asembly from a bertram parts guy in Florida for $250 minus the rudder. I am finding out that a lot of parts fro Bertram are special made. I am also looking into a machine shop to turn me a know one. I just thought that I would see if someone here on the board might know where one is available.
Thanks

Try Haskell and Hall Propellers (Salem, MA). They usually have a good inventory of props, shafts, rudder boxes, etc.. I'm guessing they have the nut you are looking for.

Good Luck!

You need to try the 31 site; but you better wait until next week. Lots of guys are in Newport for the NE Rendezvous. I looked at my nut (not nuts) and it looked about the same as the one on my 28B only bigger. Bertram just used high quality stuff in their boats.
