Default 35 Seahunter / 36 Yellowfin

A while back I posted a thread that I was looking into purchasing a 35 SH or 36 YF.
After looking at both I choose the 35 SH. Dollar for dollar we found the SH to be a better buy, not taking anything away from YF. We now have the boat for 3 weeks, great ride, fast, handles all conditions really well.

We looked at many makes of larger center consoles, and still choose Seahunter.

Customer service rating - ( A ) Up and coming builder, provide a great product. Dealing with John was a great experience, but never spoke to Charlie or Ralph. However, hopefully, SH remains the same company they were from day one and remembers the little people who got them where they are today and don't get too big or too hungry for their own good.

I hope they will continue their great customer service.

How come we don't have pics you know how we are about boat porn.

SH makes a great looking boat and those that have them really seem satisfied.

I guess here on THT we are some what of a YF clan though

congrats on the new boat......i had a 35SH as well up until February this year. Comparing a 36YF and a 35SH isnt really fair to the SH. It isnt really the same size as the boats labeled 36. It is more like a 32YF or Inv 33. John and Charlie are great guys.....they are doing well thx to govt contracts needing their 40ft boat in this tough economy, so they will be here for awhile.

Show us some pics.

Default Sea Hunter vs. Sea Hunt

I'm admittedly new to boating, but didn't that Sea Hunt and Sea Hunter were two different boat builders, until just now.

I'm surprised that whichever company started second didn't get sued over the name.

Damn confusing for us noobs...
