I fish a lot w/a friend who has a 2860 CC w/ twin 200hp Optis...there were some fiberglass issues when first bought; mfg worked w/him and paid for all work to correct problem...boat has been solid performer for two plus years...good layout and solid feel in rough water...he did install trim-tabs which improved performance greatly...overall I'd rate it a very good value and a very good performer...I would buy one...this cat hull is great ride.and fuel efficient...runs 60 plus miles outta Charleston regularly using 80-90 gals per trip(that's pretty good, by the way) cruises 26 kts@3500rpms...all in all, I'd say go for it...
