Default Plans for an aluminum sport-fishing cat ? Suggestions Please

My bud wants to build his own aluminum welded cat and he is looking for a set of plans for a 38 to 42 foot cat, 12 to 14 ft beam

He would like diesels and not outboards, but he is not 100% fixed on that yet . . . a cruise of 25 kts would be more than great for him . . . he is not a speedster

His main interest is fishing and he wants to be able to live on board for a few days

He wants plans with full CAD drawings

I have found a few on the web but I do not know them so I would be reluctant to recomend.

Anyone have personal good or bad experience with the suppliers of plans

Your help is appreciated

I know . . . I told my bud that this would be a real big expensive job but he is a qualified welder and can not afford to buy the boat of his dreams . . . he currently has a 28 footer so he is knowledgeable about his requirements
