What Paint?

Hey guys, just removed the carpet that was in my console area. This area is mostly fish boxes and a little room for two people to nap. There was carpet wall to wall which was dirty and had mold behind it in some areas. I would love to just paint it but dont know which paint to use. Glue from the carpet covers most areas of the fiberglass. So I would also need to sand too right? Thanks
