I'm curious to see everyone's opinions on a dual console boats in the range of 21' to 24'. Below are the one's I'm focusing on so please give me your input.
Key West - 225
Hydra-Sports - 2200 DC
Pro-line - 23DC
Scout - 222 Dorado
Century - 2350
Wellcraft - 210 or 220 sportsman
I'd love to have a Grady White, but think it's more than I want to spend.
Thank you,

Get a used Grady. The 225 Tournament is a lot of boat for a 22' DC. They own the DC market IMO. They fish well also. They have 5 or 6 DCs to choose from. IM me if you have any questions I would be happy to help any way I can.
I'm pretty partial to my Robalo R227 and a good bit cheaper than the Grady which I also like. Robalo is old school, heavy hull, no coring. I've had mine two years and ski, fish offshore, and cruise all quite happily. Feel free to PM if you have particular questions and regardless of what people say, you can fish out of a DC quite well as my cockpit is as big as many center consoles I've been on.
I would love a Grady White, but not sure i'll be able to find even a used one. I currently have a 260 Searay Sundancer, but we moved closer to the water so i don't think we'll need a boat for overnighting any more. I think we'll do more day cruising and fishing, or at least I'll do the fishing part.

thanks Gary I wish I could find one around the Tampa Bay area.
There is a fellow on craigslist with a 22' HydraSports DC in the Tampa area. I had emailed the guy for a friend of mine. I can get you the ad. If interested PM me..
Had a 22 Grady Tournament for 9 years loved it. If I were to have just one boat it would be another 22 Tournament. The 94-02's would be where I'd look, Thats before the euro transom and head, but with a SV2 hull..
unfortunately I need the head for wife and daughter. I currently have a 260 Sundancer and we moved to the water, so i've talked her into the dual console but need the head.....LOL

If I could get a Grady White for reasonable price I'd be good with that, but will more than likely end up with 1 of the 3 above.
If it's those 3, then I would pick the Scout first, Pro-line 2nd. Key West (225 DC I assume) only if you get a great deal. Pro-line 23DC is the better value ( a lot for the $$) and is a big DC. Scout is beautiful but pricey for what you get. The Pro-line can also be rigged with twins.

No Euro on my 225. Grady 275 yes. The 225 has a closed full transom with a fish box and live well. The motor is on a bracket. I have only owned mine for a few months but this is my favorite boat to date.

Why just in the Tampa area? I live in Louisiana and wanted a Kencraft 215. I don't even think they sell Kencraft in Louisiana. I found the one I wanted on the net, flew to North Carolina to test it and then had it hauled back. The trip to North Carolina and haul only coasted $1500 total! Now I get to have the boat of my dream. If I would have limited my search to South Louisiana I could not have got the boat I wanted. Don't limit yourself!

Can i ask why the selection in that order? I will agree on the Scout i really like their boat and i'm trying to find a dealer or someone in the area that services these boats. All 3 have decent dealers.
