Default Interesting issue - Bilge Water/Scupper?

So - I own a Sea Pro SV2100 with a gen1 200 verado. Pretty heavy on the back end with 2 live wells, and 2 batteries.. plus 500lbs of man usually..

So I noticed that I have more water in my bilge than I like, and that my scuppers are not self bailing when at rest.

So I think that my scuppers on the deck are leaking, not sure why, but that would make sense adding water to the bilge, and causing it to not drain.

Or am I completely wrong here?

So my solution was to install the pingpong ball scuppers this weekend and new drains on the deck. The old drains dont look all that hot, and it just looks like it could be a root cause of some water.

Ideas?

Had the same issue and ping pngs solved it. If you want them to seal real well, wipe the area where the ball seats into the seal with a little silicone grease. Just a very light coat. Keeps the balls from sticking shut as well.

If you have hoses between the deck and through hull for the scuppers, I would check those for leaks also.

OK.
So I got one thru hull off, and filled the bilge up with water. Looks like a small leak coming out of one of the thru hulls (inside the hole)so my guess is I have a small leak in that hose, probably not clamped on well.

Also - my drains for my scuppers, doesnt sit flush with the floor, rather flush with the rear decks wall.. What type of scupper can I buy to replace that.

Question. if the scuppers let water onto the deck how does that water get into the bilge?

Check all hoses, fittings and clamps in the bilge.

The only way a scupper can leak in the bilge would be a leak in the hose or pipe if it is not located to the rear of the boat.
