Question How do I know which RACOR fuel/water separator I need????

I am re-powering my 18' CC later this month. I need to install a new RACOR fuel/water separator. How do I know which one I need? Are some better than others?

I am re-powering with a 2002 Merc 150 EFI.

Thanks.

read your engine manual and see what flow(gph) it needs as a minimum. i would reccomend a 10 micron as well, but again check your manual. verados need 10 mincron and 60gph not sur about older mercs, but higher GPH is not bad thing. having a clear bowl is nice as well to see if water and drain.

No manual yet. I was trying to have the new Racor installed prior to the repower. I will do some more research.

Thanks

Remember, filter/separator flow rates relate only to when newly installed, so always over-size in terms of flow and capacity, not microns. Bigger is always better if it will fit, and just big enough is too small if you don't change them often..
