Default What is on your ToDo boat list this year?

Like everyone who gets a new-to-them boat, there are a pile of small jobs that they want to do on their boat.

Well I sat down last night and started my to do list for 2010

- Install a pulpit and winch

- Install complete set of electronics and controls in the cockpit (8 inch Furuno NN3)

- Find a way to store more than 20 rods and reels on the boat without having to take them apart

- Install a search/spot light on the boat

- Install the heater on the flybridge

- Install a new transducer to match the new electronics

- Rope cutters on the shafts

- Larger bilge pumps

And still have time to go fishing . . . want to do 20 overnight fishing trips this year

Will have to see what I run out of first . . . time or money

Maybe an FLIR next year

What is on your list?

Off the top of my head
  • remove and inspect raw water intake hoses between strainer and pump
  • new topside upholstery
  • repair short in helm panel lights
  • build tackle station in place of livewell
  • rebuild both carbs
I'm sure there is a bunch more to do.

5. Clean up the T-top with polish then new canvas for it
6. New livewell pump
7. Reorganizing the console with new gauges etc.
8. New switch panel
