I am not sure if I posted my thread correctly so here goes again.

I have a Striper Seaswirl 26WA (1999) I would like to go up to a 29 or 30/31 WA but I do not have alot of experience in boating. My first boat was a 19 foot CC. I live in Boston MA and kept that boat in Fairheaven Ma to close to Buzzards Bay because the fishing is better there than in Boston Harbor. I have no clue what brands to look at. I like the outboards so will be looking for twin Yammis. Because we have a short season is short here I went to the WA cuddy. I want to buy used 3 to 5 years to cut down on the cost. So whats a rock solid boat that wont break the bank??? I like the Pursuit 31 Express but I would have to wait 10 years for the price to be below 80K!

If you want a Pursuit or a Grady for that price, you could get one that is older but has been repowered. The Pursuit 3070 OS is a nice boat with a great layout. It's not like most Walk Arounds. It has seating in front of the helm and can be completely enclosed for bad weather or cold. The helm is more like a center console, and it has a cabin. They don't make the same model any longer (I think they stopped making it in the early 2000s). I have the Pursuit 2870 OS which is a similar layout and love it.

Default Pursuit 285

Thank you for your reply. yes the 285 with twins is a good boat and used is in my price range....are there any other boats in the mid-price range you can suggest? thank you for your advice..oh I read in a the forum that a walkaround is a waste of inside space what does that mean? what I mean is there more space in a non-walk around?? I am going to the new england boat show to get more answers.

thank you
