Center consoles, why so large?

larger cc's go faster, and hence the bigger the console, the bigger the top for sun protection and windshield......going 30-60mph and you will get beat up from the wind...most people dont realize how fatiguing the wind can be. Alot of boat manufacturers give you options on size of console/top. You can have a larger leaning post also for seating. The looks are also important when it comes to size proportions. Being a diver i think you would appreciate all these things.
