Default Shurhold Polisher

Has anyone tried the new dual action polisher from Shurhold? The adds on Ship Shape and elsewhere promise a lot. I was thinking about using it to apply Collonite wax cleaner and then Fleet Wax. Any thoughts?

Works like a charm. Bought it two weeks ago and polished my boat this past Thursday. Doesn't leave trace on the paint, it makes everthing easy.

Very ergonomic and doesn't heat up no matter how long you use it. Worth the $140.00

Good luck!

It's a nice machine. It's the same unit sold by Griot's Garage and some other car detailers, so it is a proven design. You'll end up using it on the car as well as the boat, so you can use that fact to convince the wife you need this thing.

Do a forum search, but it and the Porter Cable unit are about the two most highly spoken of from what I have seen.

(I own neither, but am considering one or the other - undecided right now)

Just used the Shurhold polisher for the first time and love it. Using that with Buff Magic and Pro Polish made my boat look better than the day I bought it. Very worthwhile investment.

Yep - I have the porter cable - I think the shurhold is a little lighter. It will change the way you do things, that's for sure. Makes the car paint "glow" makes it easier to get to a great finish on the boat. Amazing really.
