I bought my '90 Seapro 4 yrs ago - and re-powered her last yr. The Carolina flare keeps me extremely dry - very few times have I ever had spray come over the rails. It's a deep V so the fuel economy isnt great but it's a relatively light hull at ~ 2,300lbs. I take it out in the ocean almost every weekend - good luck with your search.

That's a great offer from Catfever24. I was gonna offer up my 2005 Cobia 210WA with Yamaha 150, but his looks like the better deal.

A Pro Sports is not a Grady, but neither are the Wellcraft or HydraSports. A better boat than a Trophy or some Polars and Sea Fox's. One of our members here had his SeaHunt stolen and stripped and he found a ProSports to replace it. So far he has had good luck with it. They also make a catamaran. Here is a copy of a post from a dealer..

"I have been reading here on this forum of people that have bashed Prosports boats and do not understand why the boats' my family has owned nor the one's I have sold had all of these MAJOR issues.
My Mom and Dad had a 2000 22 Prokat Walkaround that we fished offshore and inshore ,we sold it 3 years ago and it is still holding up great.
I had a 2002 2860 Prokat CC that we ran for 2 years fishing and put over 700hours on it,the guy I sold it to uses it for charter and has over 3000hours on it.
My uncle Had a 2250 Cuddy for 5 years then traded it in for a 2550 Cuddy that he still has and fishes the heck out of it.
I then purchased a Prokat 2860 Cuddy in 2005 ran it as a demo putting 400 hours on it,the second owner now has over 1000 hours on it with nothing but minor maint.
In 2006 I rigged a 2360 CC and ran it for about 400hours.The second owner fishes the heck out of it also.We found stress cracks in the tunnel last year due to the forward bulkhead tabs coming loose and fixed it in 2 days work time.
I have sold 11 of them for Charter use since 2002 with some pushing on 6000 hours and most ruinning Yamaha 225 four strokes.
I think some of those that have issues are from abuse or lack of maintaince and not having a good dealer to watch out for thier best interests _"

dbranco, here is a nice freshwater '03 Seaswirl in NH:

No offense to anyone, but the Seaswirl is a nicer boat than a Pro-Sports.
